The hotel has 20 rooms in four types: double, twin, triple and family. According to the hotel, most rooms have a balcony with a sea view; if the view matters to you, confirm it for your specific room when you book. Rooms are air-conditioned and have satellite TV and a hairdryer, and free Wi-Fi covers the whole hotel.

A hotel with a history going back to 1936

The story of the Aktaion begins in 1936, when Thomas Theologou, grandfather of the present owners, decided to build a hotel beside the small pier used by the boats to Corfu. Completed in 1940, it began as a ten-room hotel and was extended in 1960 and 1968. The building was later rebuilt and reopened in 1990, with further renovations in 2006 and 2015, and the hotel is still run by the founder’s family.
