Wedding Guide · Sivota, Thesprotia · Brides 2027
A villa with a pool, a private boat to Paxos, massages, a beach bar and dinner overlooking the Ionian. One weekend for the bride and her girls.
There are bachelorette parties with pink sashes, confetti and a schedule that wears you out before it even starts. And then there’s this: a few close friends, a house with a pool that glows blue at night, a boat waiting at the harbor, and no rush at all. If the wedding is in 2027, Sivota is the place to celebrate the bride exactly as she deserves — chic, romantic, a touch of glam, and plenty of Ionian Sea.
Sivota sits in Thesprotia, about 25km south of Igoumenitsa, directly across from Corfu. It isn’t a resort, and it has no neon. It’s a real Greek village, with lush little islets dotting the bay and water that looks filtered — without being anything but natural.
The group’s home base: villas with a pool
The bachelorette starts at the house. That’s where you’ll get ready, laugh late into the night, and drink the first coffee of the morning with a view.
Aria Luxury Residence
In the heart of the village, behind a stone wall and a garden gate, a pool glows blue in the quiet. For the group, the maisonette with a private pool is the star of the show: morning dips and afternoon spritz become a private affair. There are also studios with pool access, for anyone who wants their own space.

Neoma Luxury Residence
Small and adults-only: eight studios for two, and a pool that looks out to sea. The nearest beach is four minutes away, the harbor five. Ideal for a small group booking two or three studios who want minimalism, quiet, and mornings that belong only to them.

Morning: wading through the sea at Bella Vraka
Sivota’s most photographed beach becomes the group’s first photo of the trip. The shallow, turquoise sandbar lets you wade straight from shore to the lush little islet of Mourtemeno. Come early — the light is softer and the beach is practically yours.

The day at sea: a private boat to Paxos
This is the highlight of the weekend. With Salt Speed Boat the boat is entirely yours, and the route is planned exactly how you want it, departing from Sivota: Paxos, Antipaxos, the Blue Lagoon, Parga or Corfu. Swimsuits, linen shirts, cold wine, and the bride at the bow. This is where the photos of the year happen.

Afternoon: massages at the villa
After the sea, it’s back to the house, where the afternoon belongs to the pool and to unwinding. Hands On Massage & Beauty by Spyros Katsarou and his team brings professional massages and beauty treatments to Sivota — at their own space, at your villa, or even on a boat. Book for the whole group and save the bride for last, so she’s the most relaxed for the evening.

Sunset at Mikri Ammos
A little past Megali Ammos, on the road from Sivota toward Parga, a small cove hides between greenery and rock. Mikri Ammos has coarse sand that continues into the water, clear sea, and a beach bar with music and a young crowd. There are sunbeds, a restaurant, showers and changing rooms, and it’s an easy drive to reach. It’s the spot for the first drink before the big night out. One note: the seabed drops off quickly.

Glam: hair and makeup before you head out
A night out calls for getting ready properly. The hair and makeup professionals in our wedding guide take appointment requests straight from their listing, via the “Request an appointment” button.
Evening: dinner at Thalassa
Thalassa is the restaurant you’ll remember. The road climbs steeply from the village through a lush green hillside, until the whole bay of Sivota spreads out below you, with the islets of Mourtemeno and Agios Nikolaos. Book a table for sunset, and save the toast to the bride for once the sky has gone dark.
